I've been called out!

My good friend Lantz over at The Magnet Pro  has just gotten a position as a guest writer on a well visited and from what I can tell a pretty darn swanky site Miniature Wargame Conversions (CONGRATULATIONS LANTZ! You earned it buddy). If you haven't checked out either of these sites yet, you should, you won't be sorry you did. What does this have to do with me? In his first post he puts a link to this site here in his introduction. So as not to look like a lazy chump I figured I had best put something up. More after the break.

In reality I have been busting my hump trying to get my minis fighting fit for a game tournament at the end of the month. So far I have all of my Plague Marines ( pictures below ) done and am about halfway done with my Khorne Berserkers. This leaves me with a Rhino, 2 Oblits and a Deamon Prince..

Oye

Anyway, here are my Plague Marines to look at

Group Shot

Ol' Fungus Horn

One I made specifically for Ice Station Lemon ( notice the helmet )

I liked how the skulls came out with this guy

I was exceptionally pleased at how well the "spore" treatment worked for these guys. They really match the Rhinos and look like they belong together. I can't ask for anything better than that.

And finally, a neat poster I saw for the upcoming Conan movie. Apparently he works for Khorne...

CRAP! Lost a contact.
As always questions and comments are always welcome

Have a good one,

GV

  1. I like the daemonic face with the green tongue. It just looks awesome. Not as awesome as the one on the mountain of skulls, but still pretty awesome.

P.S. My Dark Angel's sergeant needs his helmet back. His shaved head gets cold without it.

  2. Heh funny enough, that was a gold mask with a silver tongue. I was surprised at how many things changed after "The Treatment"

And no, you cant have your helmet back. After you are promoted you lose all privileges to headgear. Enemy snipers are what keeps the Imperium's coffers full. The less high ranking officers they have to pay the better.

  3. Ha! I've added the bit about headgear and snipers to the quotes section of my blog (Attributed to you, of course, with a link to your blog).

Capcha: Fanti. One of the Sanchez brothers?
